Support

PrepTalk by Upward Product Management includes invited interview practice and the separate Job Search Kit. You can work independently. For access or account help, contact the person who invited you or attached your purchase: your coach or the pilot organizer. There is no staffed help desk or support inbox yet.

Getting access

  • Sign in with Google using the email on your invitation. If you use a different address, your account will sit in the waitlist until it is matched up.
  • Job Search Kit access is separate from interview practice. A $27 kit account can open the kit but cannot open mock interviews. Group and one-on-one plans include both. Start from the sign-in link with /job-search if you bought the kit.
  • If you see a “You're on the list” screen after signing in, your account has not been approved yet. Tell your coach which email you used.

Before a practice session

  • Use a desktop browser with a working microphone. Mobile has not been tested enough to recommend it during the pilot.
  • Allow microphone access when the browser asks. If you denied it earlier, reset the permission in the browser's site settings and reload.
  • Find a quiet spot. The transcript is what the coaching works from, so background noise leads to weaker feedback.

If something goes wrong

  • The voice interviewer would not connect. Check the microphone permission and your connection, then start a new practice. If the screen offers recovery, try that first. A failed connection may not have saved an answer.
  • Feedback is taking a long time. Processing normally finishes within a few minutes. The wait screen keeps checking and offers a Try Again button if it stalls. You can leave and come back; the session stays in your history.
  • Feedback says no answer was found. The recording had no usable answer from you, so no feedback or progress was awarded. Start another attempt.
  • The transcript or advice is wrong. Use the flags on the feedback screen to record what seems wrong. If you share the attempt with a coach, they can see your concern.

What to include when reporting a problem

When you report a problem, include these so it can be found quickly:

  • The email you signed in with.
  • The page address from your browser, especially for a session or feedback page. It contains the session ID.
  • Roughly when it happened and what you were doing.
  • The exact error text, if any was shown.

Do not paste your transcript or resume into a message to report a bug. The session link is enough.

Your data

What is collected, which services process it, and how to delete things are described on the privacy and data page. Requests that need the operator, such as removing a recording at the voice provider or deleting your whole account, go through the person who invited you.
